Is it safe to do internet banking and online shopping while using an UNsecured wireless internet connection?
Someone told me that it is safe even if someone is “sniffing” (or whatever term that is) the wireless network
because internet banking sites are https not http so everything is encrypted, similarly when paying in an online shop…
is it true?
can I use do that safely from my laptop on an insecure connection?
Please explain!
