Does it make any difference if I was to use somebody local where I live, such as Bank of America or HNB Mortgage as opposed to firsttimehomebuyers.net, quicken loans, or ditech.com?

I had transfered it to my brokerage account and then to my bank of america account. The IRS made me pay 49,000 in taxes before I could withdraw any money. Then the next day I go to get money and they say it’s all being with held beacuse it was gambling money! That is all I have to pay bills and my mortgage. Is there any way to get it back?
