I’m looking for mortgage rates online and want to build modular next year, now just looking for the best deal and wondering when today’s Fed actions will be reflected in the offers I find.
I am a first time home buyer and am in the process of doing research to ge a home loan. The online mortgage calculators I can find say rates are based on married, two dependent households. Because I have no dependents and all of my income would go toward my own expenses does that make me eligible for more than a married household that brings in equal income to what I earn?
I found a mortgage company online that says they can help people with low credit scores and low down payments to buy a house, they sent me an application but the thing is it says i have to pay $69 to submit the application, is this a normal practice? am i just out this money if they end up not being able to approve me for the home loan? i just wanna make sure this isnt some kind of scam, it seems like a reputable company but im not sure, any thoughts?

Is there a SIMPLE-to-understand online calculator thing which will automatically calculate the amount of mortgage i can take out if i simply type in my current salary?
The calculator thing MUST be simple! I dont know much about salary. Most calculators ask me to type in the “repayment period” which is easy (i type in 25 years) but i have no idea what to type for “interest”…
